Wesley Espinoza has 13 years of experience working in telecommunications. Through this experience, he became interested in the ways that Learning & Development can drive growth within a company. Wesley now has 9 years of experience working and innovating in the L&D space. He has been a Trainer, Sr. Trainer, Project Manager, Instructional Designer, and Modern Learning Team Consultant.
Wesley decided to challenge himself outside of Telecommunications in order to grow his skill set and tackle the retail environment. He identified key opportunities in the new employer's learning infrastructure and integrated a new Learning Management System (LMS), in under two months. Workday Learning's LMS offered many benefits to the company, but the real win was the learning culture that his current team drives to create.
Wesley is a people leader who believes staff development is critical to achieving a positive impact throughout any business. Wesley is known for his ability to analyze a problem and drive creative solutions. He is actively engaged in improving the technology infrastructure and driving learning strategies that culturally impact the end user experience.
He believes adult learning should be more than a "check the box" mentality in the workplace environment. It has the power to engage, develop and grow an organization and he knows how to achieve it.
